DubMarta is a bass player and singer based in London, she fronts a 5-piece band performing her original music, an explosive mix of reggae, dub and soul with a distinctive and original sound.
DubMarta has been playing some of the best music venues in London, where she’s supported Gentleman’s Dub Club at Electric Brixton, as well as touring in UK and Europe. The band has performed in numerous festivals, including One Love Festival (UK) and Rototom SunSplash 2016, the biggest reggae festival in Europe.
She has collaborated with well-known reggae artists and producers such as Earl 16, Dennis Alcapone, Earl Zero, Ranking Joe, Dougie Conscious, Madaski (Africa Unite/The Dub Sync), Andrea Terrano (Basement Jaxx), Neil Perch (Zion Train).
Her first release, “Forward”, produced by the label Deep Root/Universal Egg on 7” vinyl, has had large distribution and has been played by many sound systems across Europe. DubMarta’s EP “Love Warrior” came out in July 2015. Recently she’s released a new single, ‘Revolution’, which will be part of a full-length album.
